How did you get interested in New Thought/Religious Science?
I'I have an early recollection of my grandmother, Nana, having the Science of Mind magazine in her home, as well as materials by/on Edgar Cayce and many books on philosophy and eastern religions. She was born in 1897, so in many ways the FIllmores, Holmes, and Cayce, among others, were her contemporaries. My Nana gave me both inspiration and encouragement to question what was on the surface, to look more deeply, to always question the status quo, and to trust my intuition.

Who are some of your most significant teachers/mentors?
As mentioned above, my Nana was a primary source until her death at age 97, in my late teens and early twenties I was active in Lutheran campus ministries and learned much from Pastor David Ellison, and more recently and significantly in terms of my inward spiritual journey: Dr. Michele, Dr. Bobbie, and my fellow Practitioner cohort classmates.

Do you have an area (such as health, prosperity, pets, etc.) that you are drawn to?
I know that I am drawn by Spirit to those who seek me out for prayer and treatment.

Do you prefer to work face-to-face, over the phone, or other ways?
I am comfortable with face-to-face, telephone, and email or other written treatments. I do appreciate the contact of meeting and speaking in person as the nuances of facial expressions and gestures is so often a part of how we communicate.

How long have you been a Practitioner?
Since March 2008

Are you a native of Arizona?
No, I moved to Phoenix in October 1996. I was born and grew up in Long Beach, California. I lived for about four years in Huntington Beach during high school, moving back to Long Beach during my senior year.

Did you start in another religion?
I spent a few years in the Lutheran church, than attended Unitarian Universalist churches for 7 years, and eventually found myself in New Thought.

What is your greatest joy about being a Practitioner?
It is both an honor and a joy to be present for and help facilitate an individual’s step toward their highest expression of Divine Self. It is exhilarating to tap into and express Truth.
